April 13 Update

April 13, 2020

Dear Boistfort Parents,

I hope that this letter finds you all safe.  As many of you know we have been ordered to not have school within our schools walls for the remainder of the year.  We will continue to provide materials and distance learning.  This letter helps explain how we will continue to offer these services for everyone

Learning Materials:

We will be continuing to deliver work on Mondays.  Throughout the week teachers will be supporting students remotely and checking in with your students.  I encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions or if you need anything.  Some materials will be sent in hard copy to those that don’t have internet access.

Children between the ages 1-18 are eligible to receive meals through our meal program.  We will deliver meals to your home each day or you can pick up at our school site between 8 and 10 am.   We will support social distancing during these deliveries.  Also, if your child has specific dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will work to support meeting their specific needs.

We are all learning how to support each other better through distance learning.  I understand that this is not the best learning option for most of our students but know that we are working to support every student each day through this epidemic.    Our teachers look forward to hearing and seeing our students as well as you again in the fall.  I know that we all couldn’t have predicted any of this but know that we are here for you to support you in any way we can in this difficult time.

Stay safe and stay healthy,

Chris Clark
Boistfort School District Superintendent
